The primary task of the Evangelism/Hospitality/Fellowship Ministry Team is to ensure that the congregation reaches out to people with the good news of Jesus Christ, receives them into its care and encourages all who will respond, to develop and strengthen their spiritual growth and their relationship with God and live as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Responsibilities of the team, include:
© Working with the pastor and the Church Council to make evangelism, hospitality and fellowship a vital part of the congregation’s ministry.
© Coordinating, planning, carrying out and evaluating the congregation’s outreach ministries.
© Caring for all members of the congregation, as well as persons who are not members of any congregation; to help all know and respond to the love of God in Christ.
© Helping members and friends of the church and their guests to feel welcome.
© Working with all groups and persons in the congregation to keep and update potential new member(s) files and to provide for visitation programs.
© Arranging for ministries and programs designed to attract people into the church and to faith in Christ.
© Planning and organizing events for fellowship.
